Success can be the victory of manifesting exactly what you want, it can be creating a beautiful painting, climbing mount Everest, giving that first public speech, launching your company or even finding that perfect life partner.
Rumi, one of the greatest spiritual Sufi poet of the 13th century, says “Everything in the universe is within you, ask all from yourself”. So why is that when we know that we are the creators of our own destiny and technically all what we want should be available to us, we still are struggling to get even what belongs to us. The struggle can vary, for some it’s in the relationship sphere, some in wealth while others in health. However, the formula to unblock that success – that manifestation into your life is a common.
STEP 1: Finding the roadblocks or “false fears”
Every fear is false. Period. It is just a limitation that your mind has created to stop you from allowing the very thing that you want to manifest. So if you want to give a public speech, the butterflies in your tummy say “You donot have the right qualification”, or “You have never done this before, what if you make a fool of your self”, or just some procrastination talk like maybe if you prepare well you can do it next year. All these are just roadblocks, just false fears telling you “You are not Good enough”
So find out what your inner self talk is, what are your roadblocks?
STEP 2: Apply tools to these inner beliefs
These fear-based beliefs have been running your life for years. You are limiting the life of your dreams because a false belief? So next time instead of the road rage, get angry that you are the one that is misbehaving and not letting yourself live that spectacular life that you are meant to.
After that insight, the next obvious step is to change those inner beliefs. There are many tools that you can apply such as affirmations, meditation, EFT or any other techniques.
Another thing that works brilliantly is Bryon Katie’s – The Work. This is a process of four questions that shakes those detrimental beliefs!
STEP 3: Complimenting with a routine
Everyone has a practice that gives him or her solace. It can be from drinking that hot herbal tea or going to the beach. If you don't here are some simple pointers where you can start! Develop a practice such taking up yoga or pilates that synchronizes the body mind and soul. Another one is journaling, maintain a gratitude journal or daily dairy, this really works wonders.
STEP 4: Changing mindset
Now I am sure you saw that coming! We are learning all these tools, developing a daily practice so we can get more aware of out thoughts and slowly change them, and escalate to a positive mindset.
Changing mindset can be from changing personal beliefs that “ I am too old to try that” to larger societal beliefs “Women are the weaker sex” or “Men cant cry”.
For example: If you are a woman who is passionate about boxing and some of these beliefs are in your way, the mere change in your mindset can get you one step towards your goal.
Whatever is not working for you. Shed it! Snakes get this right.
STEP 5: Experiencing the result in day to day life
Once you start investing time in these processes, once you rigorously start believing and practicing the steps mentioned above, you will experience a change in your day to day life.
That call that you been waiting for whether it is for the dream job or the dream date will come your way. You get unexpected emails from customers wanting your product. Even your dad and mom behave differently with you.
The best part about this program is that your everyday experiences is your weighing scale! It is your mirror! It shows exactly how much you have progressed, and how much more you still need to work on.
STEP 6: Monitoring and retaining progress
Have you ever gone to the casino and experienced beginners luck? So what is it? It is a phenomenon when whatever you touch becomes gold! You are a novice, and yet you win the first few hands that you play and you have no idea how this is happening when so many veteran players are on that table.
And then all of a sudden you end up loosing a lot more than you have won. You don't know when have gone the downward spiral. It’s same with unblocking success or progressing. When you have a few hits and things are going your way, instead of keeping the rituals you either forget or become lethargic about them, it easy to go the downward spiral. Furthermore, you then start questioning the techniques or even become a skeptic if all this is for you in the first place. You become wishy washy and so does your results.
Monitoring and retaining progress is the toughest thing to do and yet it is the only way to go from good to great. Your daily practice is as essential as brushing your teeth! You need gratitude, meditation, incorporating tools and techniques every single day.
STEP 7: Stumbling/Uncovering another roadblock – Back to Step 1
It may happen that after a certain point even though you are doing your daily practice, being more aware and following all the six steps, you are still not able to manifest something or you are just getting stuck – not able to break the glass ceiling. Otherwise it may be the case that you have accomplished something glorious and are ready to for the next big challenge.
Well this process of unblocking detrimental beliefs is peeling an onion, the deeper you go, the more you know the deeper you need to go. It’s not a destination but a continuous evolving journey.
So don't get disappointment if you are getting nowhere, it’s just universe’s sign of asking you to go deeper and telling you that you are in for an upgrade. Uncover a bigger roadblock. The universe is training you to have the courage of healing it and letting it go. And every time you do this you subtly shift your life a little more upward.
Look at it this way, every time when you find a bug, some difficulty or just want new technology don't you upgrade your phone? Why not try doing this with yourself?
